Coming to BU Ryan first came to Boston University intending on having a future career in investment banking. Sophomore Year Began Looking into CFA Classes. Met with the managing director of the Huntington Theater Company, enrolled in theater classes, and ended up declaring a Theater Arts minor – the second person ever to do so. Though this added a significant amount to his workload, he was happy to be doing something he was passionate about. Internships

Senior Year At the start of the year, Ryan found that he just wasn't interested in the companies that were recruiting at BU. he was very numbers-oriented, but he didn't feel like he fit in with those roles. It was not until Christmas break of his senior year that Ryan decided to "take the plunge". Ryan stopped interviewing with the Feld Career Center and began looking into opportunities with the arts. After College Chambers Theater Productions, a national touring educational theater company. The company was for-profit, and Ryan would describe it as "working in entertainment." Left Chambers to join Arts Boston, where, at the time of the interview, he had been working for about three months.
